Assoc. Prof. Mutlu Keskin

Periodontology Specialist

Dr. Mutlu Keskin was born in Tekirdağ/Çorlu, and after completing his primary and secondary education in Avcılar district of Istanbul, he graduated from Yeşilköy Anatolian High School. He completed his dentistry education at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry (Çapa) and then specialized in the Department of Periodontology of the same faculty and received the titles of doctor and periodontology specialist. During his doctoral and specialist education, he won a Finnish government scholarship (CIMO) with his project titled "The Effect of Inflammation on Periodontal Bacterial Plaque" and continued his doctoral education at the University of Turku.

In 2015, Dr. Mutlu Keskin earned the title of Assistant Professor, and in 2023, he was promoted to Associate Professor. Dr. Mutlu Keskin carries out intensive studies in the fields of inflammatory gum diseases, gum recession, gum aesthetics, implant treatment and aesthetic dentistry. He stays up to date by closely following scientific events and works as a gum disease and surgery specialist at Temadent Dental Clinic. At the same time, he continues his academic studies actively.
